Another year, another meeting of the UKSRN. This year we welcomed several of our collaborators from the Breakthrough Listen Lab at UCL Berkeley, and once more Claudio Maccone from the IAA Permanent Committee on SETI. It’s exciting to see our network reach out to colleagues across the USA and Europe!
We also welcomed some new colleagues from the UK, working in fields ranging from zoology to neuroscience, and the philosophy of cognition.
One of our new members, Matt Colborn, has written two blog posts on his personal site giving a nice summary of Day One and Day Two of the meeting. You can see there’s some great ideas percolating in the group. Over the next few months our members will be telling you all about it here!
